Canadian Registration
- A well-preserved example of Yamaha’s Grand Prix-winning two-stroke racer, which swept nine of the top 10 spots in the 250-cc class to win the 1971 World Championship
- Single-model-year successor to the vaunted TD2; said to be one of approximately 150 produced for 1971
- Formerly owned by Cycle magazine contributor Bruce Finlayson; acquired by the Dare to Dream Collection in 2014 out of Alabama
- Powered by a 250-cc, air-cooled, two-stroke parallel-twin engine
- Featured in the April 1989 issue of Cycle, which described the TD2 as “the most potent and sought-after 250 racer of its time.”
