Street Encounter is the second in the series of sculptures by Wanlass entitled Hot Rod Legends. This piece depicts Pete Chapouris’s famous 1934 Ford “California Kid,” star of the movie of the same name, and Bob Larivee’s 1950 Mercury lead-sled “Cool 50.” This exciting piece is a rare, one-off exhibition copy in an edition of 18, mounted on a walnut and Bruno San Marino marble rotating base, and complete with a certificate of authenticity.
