This vibrant painting commemorates Ferrari’s first World Championship of Drivers in 1952. The Ferrari 500 Formula 2 of Alberto Ascari dominated the season, winning six out of eight races (missing the first race as he was competing in the Indianapolis 500), including the final round at the Syracuse Grand Prix in Sicily, Italy. Ferrari swept the championship standings with Alberto Ascari, Piero Taruffi, and Giuseppe Farina finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, respectively.
