Gord Duff began his journey with RM Sotheby's in 1998. Since then, he has gained an intimate knowledge of a variety of marques as well as the trust and friendship of clients around the world. His instinctive understanding of the collector car industry has proven to be the key to success when it comes to managing auctions and consigning cars. This has been demonstrated through the many successful auctions that Gord has managed. Highlights include the 2015 Amelia Island sale, which achieved a 97% sell-through rate and double the total value sold over the previous year; two Hershey sales with 100% sell-through rates; and management responsibilities at every North American auction.

Gord's consistent success is a direct result of the deep roots he has established in the industry, which stretch throughout North America, Europe, Russia, and Asia, where he regularly travels and personally meets with clients. This fosters a deep trust between Gord and his clientele, which is most prominently displayed on auction days where clients trust Gord enough to have him buy high-value cars—sight unseen—over the phone on their behalf. When the time comes for these clients to sell their cars, they also trust Gord with the duty of managing the sale of their large collections. Gord has sold thousands of cars from a variety of marques and from a number of different individuals and collections.

Gord continues to be one of RM's leading car specialists. When not traveling around the world meeting with clients, Gord enjoys participating in rallies and concours events. Some of Gord's most memorable moments include participating in the Colorado Grand, Copperstate 1000, Cavallino Classic, Amelia Island Concours, Pebble Beach Concours, Greenwich Concours, Concours of America, ACD Fall Meet, Rétromobile, Monaco Historic Grand Prix, and Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
