40th Anniversary Edition with 2,700 miles from new

300 bhp, 350.0 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine, four-speed automatic transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, independent rear suspension with transverse leaf spring, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 96.2 in.

For its 40th anniversary in 1993, Chevrolet produced a special edition featuring a commemorative Ruby Red color, 40th anniversary badges, and embroidered seat backs. The 1993 Corvette also marked the year as the first GM car to feature the Passive Keyless Entry system. Like all special edition Corvettes, they were snatched up quickly by eager enthusiasts and many were driven extensively. However, some, like the example offered here, had the benefit of careful and thoughtful ownership, which would greatly work to preserve these anniversary editions for later enthusiasts and collectors.

Notably, this example had a single owner from 1993 to 2008, prior to joining the Cars of Dreams Museum Collection. It was equipped with every Chevrolet option, including power seats and windows, ride control, air conditioning, a removable hardtop, and of course, power steering and brakes. Equipped with the potent 350 CID, 300 horsepower V-8, this example has only 2,688 original and carefully driven miles. Owing to its low mileage and outstanding original condition, this Corvette is sure to increase in collectability. It is a highly versatile collector car that will provide for enjoyment on the road, ease of ownership, and participation in shows without diminishing its collectability for future generations.
