V-8 engine with four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension, live rear axle, and four-wheel drum brakes. Wheelbase: 108 in.
This convertible was delivered new with a Dynasty Green body and black standard vinyl upholstery. The original engine was a six cylinder mated to a three-speed transmission. Today it is much sportier, finished in red over a red Pony Interior and with a larger V-8. All the interior components show very well with little use, including the console-mounted four-speed and fresh gauges. It has also been upgraded with a Pioneer sound system and speakers nestled into the kick panels. The convertible top shows some wear from the older restoration, indicative of use. Body alignment and panel gaps are very nice with a high quality paint finish. The engine compartment is clean and tidy with chrome accessories, and the underbody is clean and simple with no surprises. With popular colors and a performance power train, this Mustang has much to offer its next owner.
