For Cadillac, the Series 62 was a highly successful model. Styling was modern, with clean lines and a strong Cadillac identity. Interiors were luxurious, offering the latest features and luxurious broadcloth or leather upholstery. Pricing was reasonable, and as a result, the 62 was Cadillac’s best seller. This stunning Series 62 convertible is a high quality restoration finished in 1999, redone in its original Madeira Maroon Iridescent over red leather with a beige soft top. It is equipped with the optional Hydra-Matic transmission and dual safety spot lights to go along with the standard leather upholstery, AM radio, clock, power seat, and hydraulically operated folding top and windows. It drives excellently, easily cruising with modern high-speed traffic. All of the hydraulic systems work great, down to the original vacuum tube radio. Included with the purchase are photos and information about the car, an original shop manual, the original jack, and the original spare, rounding out a lovely offering.
