It has often been said that something can be restored over and over but it is only original once. Finding a vintage automobile with a balance of both can be very rewarding, as found in this lovely club coupe. It has a restored exterior with good paint finish and very presentable brightwork, while other areas have been maintained in their honest, unrestored condition. The flathead engine bay has a largely original, factory correct appearance, with only minor updates, such as a modern battery, which stand out as unoriginal. The interior has the look and feel of an original and unrestored car. The soft cloth seat upholstery, door panels, and headliner were all likely replaced some years ago, but the dash and hardware have a lovely, original patina, while the undercarriage is much the same way. Accessories, such as dual spot lights, an external visor, and an under-seat heater, add to the vintage experience.
