221 cu. in. V-8 engine, three-speed manual transmission, lowered front beam and rear live axle suspension with transverse leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 112 in.

This 1940 Ford has been fully restored with a rebel rouser theme in mind and looks like it was taken from the pages of a vintage Hot Rod magazine. The engine was rebuilt by Motor City Flatheads and includes mechanical valve lifters, dual carburetors on an aluminum intake, Offenhauser finned heads, and a 12-volt alternator. It has a dropped front axle to give it a lowered stance, custom full wheel discs, and oversized bubble fender skirts. The interior sports brown leather upholstery, a body colored dash with chrome gauge bezels, and a myriad of Von Dutch-style pinstripes. The underside has been restored for driving, and there is light road dust on the drivetrain. The fit and finish of the body and trim is better than the factory specified, and the doors shut nicely. This example is ready for a night out on the town or a photo shoot with a pinup model.
