• Freshly completed, exquisite restoration

• Finest materials used throughout

• Sympathetically upgraded for easy, modern driving

This desirable Series II E-Type has just completed a total rotisserie restoration, which included complete disassembly and significant upgrades to the tune of over $100,000. The car is beautifully finished with fresh Warwick Grey paint and beautiful Connolly leather interior, with all proper original materials used throughout, for a car that looks just as well as, if not better than, when it left the factory.

Many upgrades were made to improve the drivability of the car on modern roads, including the installation of a five-speed Tremec transmission with a .65 overdrive, an alloy flywheel, and a high-output starter. To eliminate the overheating problems troubling early E-Types, the car is equipped with an upgraded cooling system that includes an alloy radiator, a high-output cooling fan, which increases the CFM from 500 to 3000, and a new high-output water pump. The engine was completely rebuilt and upgraded to the earlier, more powerful Series I specs with triple SU carburetors. It exhales through polished stainless steel headers and a two-inch exhaust.

The car rides on seven-inch wire wheels. Wiring, lights, and brakes were completely rebuilt using new parts acquired from England, a list of which is available for inspection by potential buyers. There are many E-Types out there that have exceptional fit and finish and are ready for the show field, and there are many others that are well-sorted to be driven and enjoyed. The car offered here boasts an unbeatable combination of both. It is an ideal Jaguar, a joy to look at, and a thrill to drive.
