Fitted with a rear-entrance tonneau, this double-chain drive Delahaye is attractive in the green and red livery of the Aalholm Automobil Museum. The chassis and wheels are done in contrasting yellow, and the wicker baskets on the side of the tonneau give a nice period effect. The brass lighting is Le Veritable by Phare C. Billy, of Paris, and the seating is upholstered in red vinyl. In the museum’s collection for many years, the car participated in the IX Deutsche Schnauferl Rally in Travemunde, Germany, in 1964.

Ideal for veteran car touring, this 1904 Delahaye could potentially be eligible for the London-to-Brighton run. Alternatively, it could be used in an institutional setting for the transportation of visitors in a turn-of-the-century theme environment. It should be ready for use after a recommissioning.
