Fred Krugger has been synonymous with award-winning custom motorcycles for many years. His latest creation is on offer here, and it is surely one of a kind. A tribute to all things Japanese, it was originally built to be displayed on Honda’s stand at the 2013 Brussels Auto Show.

Custom features abound on this CB450, perhaps the most interesting of which is the reversed cylinder head, rumoured to have taken Krugger 30 hours of work to fit correctly. Krugger designed the seat, tail section, front fairing, wheels, and tank, which is from a 1966 ‘Black Bomber’, though fitted backwards. The tribute was then finished by custom paint shop Daddygraph in a gorgeous ‘rising sun’ motif. Certainly a one-of-a-kind bike by the master of ‘one-of-a-kind’, the opportunity to own a Krugger-built custom motorcycle does not come around often.

I particolari su misura non mancano su questa CB450, tra cui il più interessante è la testata rovesciata che, indiscrezioni dicono essere valsa 30 ore di sforzi e di lavoro a Krugger per riuscire a farla adattare perfettamente. Krugger ha disegnato il sellino, la sezione di coda, il frontale, le ruote, il serbatoio, che, posizionato al contrario, proviene da una ‘Black Bomber’ del 1966. Il tributo è stato poi completato con la verniciatura, effettuata dallo specialista Daddygraph di uno spettacolare “Sol Levante”. Sicuramente una moto unica realizzata dal maestro delle personalizzazioni. L’opportunità di possedere una moto custom realizzata da Krugger non si presenta certo di frequente.
